Founder Lauren VanScoy started Essence One after discovering the benefits of essential oils during her battle with anxiety and depression. As part of the company’s mission to promote wellbeing and raise awareness for mental health, they have partnered with Bring Change to Mind (BC2M), a non-profit organization with a mission to end the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness. Essence One donates a portion of proceeds to fund BC2M high school programs in their home state of Minnesota.
